"There Is A Hope"
CD Album by Dwight Christopher
First and foremost, I want to thank God for the opportunity to share my gift of music and song with the world; with God all things are possible. Next, I would like to thank The Blackwoods, Ron and Shelley, RW and Donna, for giving me the inspiration to record this CD. To my incredible friend and co-writer, Jerry Newport, thanks for help with 'the big words" when they elude this country boy. To Mike Caldwell, the greatest harmonica player in the world, thank you for being a part of this project. It took 20 years, but we have finally worked together on a project! Thanks to Dr. Mark and Elaine Terrell for believing in this project and me! Thanks to Scott West at Daystar Productions. I have found a friend as well as a co-writer. Thank you for the prayers at the beginning of each session. I know God has heard them; you have the gift. To the staff of Daystar Productions, thank you for all of your hours of hard work and for your support. To my wife Cherry, for always trusting my abilities and never letting me quit on my dream, even at the expense of your own. You have always kept the home fires burning. To my beautiful daughters Lauren and Erin, thanks for being my biggest fans! Mom and Dad, thanks for believing when no one else would and for giving so much of yourselves to help me. For a songwriter, I don't have the words.... I love you all and God loves you, too!
- Dwight
P.S. I found my way back home.

"Down To The Wire"
CD Album by Dwight Christopher
The Wall
A soldier walks up to the black granite wall
He soon finds the name of a friend he saw fall
He touches the name and tries not to cry
In silence he wonders why his friend had to die
A woman walks up to the black glossy stone
She touches the name of a man she had known
She kissed him goodbye and he never returned
What a high price they paid for the lessons we learned.
A young lady touches the name of her dad
And longs for the father that she never had
She's happy that honor has now come at last
But it can't erase the pain of the past.
Two fingers meet on a name etched in stone
They touch it so gently they feel so alone
Their only pleasure is what they recall
Of a son who is now just a name on the wall.
The names are all there on the black shiny wall
They fought for their country they answered the call
We all feel better but we can't explain
The feelings we have when we touch their names.

Thank You!
I want to thank Jerry Cupit, you are the man in Nashville to do country music. I consider you a true friend. This album is what country is all about and stands for. I thank God for a country producer.
This album will make you laugh, make you cry, and when you hear "The Wall", if you are an American you will salute. Great job Dwight!
